Responsibilities
- Transmit and receive outgoing and incoming cable and fax traffic
- Log and archive all Communication Centre correspondence
- Process communications promptly and resolve transmission difficulties
- Keep communications equipment operational and report faults
- Maintain telephone and facsimile call records
- Support emergency telephone-switchboard operations
- Protect the secrecy and confidentiality of correspondence
- Coach and train national staff and counterparts when applicable
Requirements
- At least five years of experience working with computers
- Proficiency with Windows applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driving licence
- Written and spoken English fluency
- Computer literacy and ability to adopt new procedures
