Responsibilities
- Receive, verify and process documentation concerning humanitarian situations and emergencies
- Enter, track and update information in humanitarian databases
- Collect and analyse data for planning, knowledge management and decision-making
- Prepare data presentations, reports and information products showing humanitarian needs, gaps and response
- Develop visualisations and update web pages, brochures and other information materials
- Respond to information queries from humanitarian organisations, authorities and communities
- Coordinate regularly with national institutions, UN entities, NGOs and donors
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting under established OCHA procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma with four years of relevant experience, or a university degree with one year of relevant experience
- Relevant experience in information management, coordination, humanitarian affairs or complex emergency settings
- Fluency in Spanish
