Human Rights Officer

Advances youth rights and civic participation for OHCHR Liberia by researching and monitoring violations, translating evidence into accessible digital content, supporting case follow-up, gender-responsive advocacy and human-rights education, and partnering with youth networks and online communities on transitional justice.

• Research human-rights trends affecting youth and digital civic space
• Translate findings into youth-friendly digital awareness content
• Monitor violations and amplify evidence through digital platforms
• Engage youth networks in inclusive governance and national-development processes
• Mainstream women’s and girls’ rights through online advocacy
• Follow up human-rights cases and disseminate accurate public information
• Deliver education on digital rights, transitional justice and civic participation
• Draft reports, briefings and advocacy materials in accessible digital formats

• Knowledge or experience in civic space, democracy, equity and non-discrimination
• Human-rights research and digital-content skills
• English proficiency
