Responsibilities
- Prepare supporting documents for cost estimates and budget proposals
- Assist in resource-requirement submissions, budget performance submissions and performance reports
- Monitor expenditures, compare them with approved budgets and prepare adjustments
- Review and process special service agreements, travel requests and requisitions
- Provide fund-status reports and respond to administrative and financial queries
- Support trust fund management and implementation across the project cycle
- Maintain grant structures, release budgets and record implementing partner expenditures in Umoja
- Prepare correspondence, maintain files and databases, and serve as IT focal point
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of seven years of experience in finance, budget, accounting or administrative services, reduced to five years with a first-level university degree or higher
- Experience administering and managing extra-budgetary resources from voluntary contributions
- Experience with trust-fund management and grant-management modules in ERP systems such as SAP, Umoja or similar
- English at UN Level II
