Responsibilities

  • Prepare supporting documents for cost estimates and budget proposals
  • Assist in resource-requirement submissions, budget performance submissions and performance reports
  • Monitor expenditures, compare them with approved budgets and prepare adjustments
  • Review and process special service agreements, travel requests and requisitions
  • Provide fund-status reports and respond to administrative and financial queries
  • Support trust fund management and implementation across the project cycle
  • Maintain grant structures, release budgets and record implementing partner expenditures in Umoja
  • Prepare correspondence, maintain files and databases, and serve as IT focal point

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in finance, budget, accounting or administrative services, reduced to five years with a first-level university degree or higher
  • Experience administering and managing extra-budgetary resources from voluntary contributions
  • Experience with trust-fund management and grant-management modules in ERP systems such as SAP, Umoja or similar
  • English at UN Level II
