Responsibilities

  • Act as IOM Lao's focal point for capacity-building and prevention activities in targeted provinces
  • Coordinate day-to-day project implementation and logistics with IOM partners and local government agencies
  • Draft invitation letters, terms of reference and project documents in English and Lao
  • Maintain partnership and counter-trafficking data and update databases regularly
  • Prepare activity reports for workshops, trainings, peer support groups and awareness-raising activities
  • Translate and disseminate training manuals, outreach materials and project documents
  • Collect and compile field data for reporting, surveys, training records and beneficiary feedback
  • Ensure adherence to Do-No-Harm, gender-sensitive, safeguarding and PSEAH standards in community work

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, community development, international relations, education, gender studies, law or a related field, or completed secondary education with at least five years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in community mobilisation and field coordination in rural and remote settings with vulnerable groups including women, children and ethnic communities
  • Fluency in Lao and English, with working knowledge of English required for reporting
