Responsibilities
- Act as IOM Lao's focal point for capacity-building and prevention activities in targeted provinces
- Coordinate day-to-day project implementation and logistics with IOM partners and local government agencies
- Draft invitation letters, terms of reference and project documents in English and Lao
- Maintain partnership and counter-trafficking data and update databases regularly
- Prepare activity reports for workshops, trainings, peer support groups and awareness-raising activities
- Translate and disseminate training manuals, outreach materials and project documents
- Collect and compile field data for reporting, surveys, training records and beneficiary feedback
- Ensure adherence to Do-No-Harm, gender-sensitive, safeguarding and PSEAH standards in community work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, community development, international relations, education, gender studies, law or a related field, or completed secondary education with at least five years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in community mobilisation and field coordination in rural and remote settings with vulnerable groups including women, children and ethnic communities
- Fluency in Lao and English, with working knowledge of English required for reporting
