Education System External Efficiency and Skills-Labor Market Data Analysis Consultant

Strengthens evidence-based decision-making on education system external efficiency and skills-labor market alignment, producing global public goods, technical assistance to country offices and governments, and knowledge products to support successful school-to-work transitions for adolescents and young people.

Department: Education, Global Programme Division

• Develop global public goods on education system external efficiency and skills-labor market alignment, including compendiums of good practice
• Provide demand-driven technical assistance to UNICEF country offices and governments on labor market observatories, tracer studies and employer surveys
• Produce a toolkit consolidating lessons, operational models, indicators and tools for UNICEF guidance and country support
• Develop knowledge products and training materials and facilitate regional and global webinars and peer-learning exchanges
• Document country case studies and produce a final synthesis report on findings and recommendations

• Advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in Economics, Labor Economics, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation or a closely related field
• At least 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in labor market analysis, TVET, education sector planning, education financing, or monitoring and evaluation
• Fluent in English, spoken and written

• Consultancy duration 14 months, Centre of Excellence remote/international arrangement based in Amman
