Education Specialist

Supports UNICEF Egypt education programming through policy and economic analysis, evidence generation, monitoring and programme management focused on equitable learning, system strengthening and education financing.

Department: Education Section

• Provide strategic leadership on education policy and economic analysis
• Lead the education evidence and research agenda for policy, programme design and advocacy
• Oversee monitoring and evaluation strategy and systems for the education portfolio
• Manage and implement key education programmes and projects
• Strengthen knowledge management systems within the education section
• Provide technical expertise and management support throughout education programming processes

• Advanced university degree in education, economics, public finance or another related field
• Minimum five years of professional experience in programme management, education financing, education research, social policy, national system reform, public finance, system budgeting or related fields
• Required skills include results-based management, strong analytical skills, education policy analysis and financial analysis
• Fluency in English
