Director, Finance Division

The Director leads WIPO's Finance Division, setting the finance transformation roadmap, strengthening financial operations and controls, and guiding ERP, data and AI-enabled improvements across the finance function.

Department: Department of Program Planning and Finance, Administration, Finance and Management Sector

• Co-create a vision and roadmap for finance innovation and transformation
• Lead redesign of the finance operating model through technology and automation
• Drive ERP transformation and change management across the Finance Division
• Direct the Division's work portfolio and manage human and financial resources
• Lead accounting policy development and ensure compliance with WIPO financial rules and IPSAS
• Oversee treasury, investment management and strategic banking relationships

• Advanced university degree in accounting, finance or a relevant subject
• First-level university degree with two additional years of relevant professional experience may be accepted
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA or CPA
• At least 15 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, including at least seven years at international level
• Substantial managerial experience, including managing multicultural teams
• Experience contributing substantively to finance digital transformation and ERP implementation projects
• Excellent written and spoken English
