Responsibilities
- Translate UNEP stories, releases, speeches and publications from English into French
- Proofread and update content on UNEP’s French-language website
- Review French website sections and identify content requiring revision
- Develop and execute social-media plans for French-speaking audiences
- Translate video, graphic and social content into French
- Manage French-language social channels and engage their audiences
- Analyse channel performance and adapt content strategy to improve reach
- Support French-language outreach and requests from UNEP’s Executive Director
Requirements
- Education or specialisation in journalism, communication, linguistic studies, translation or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of social media for strategic communication
- Outstanding French writing and editing skills
- Full command of English
- Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills
