Design Research Analysis Support for UNDP

The online volunteer will support UNDP regional urban-transformation work by analysing interview transcripts, identifying patterns across cities and preparing visual research outputs for Mayors for Economic Growth.

Department: Istanbul Regional Hub

• Review and analyse interview transcripts from stakeholders in selected cities
• Interpret qualitative data on urban transformation needs, challenges and opportunities
• Synthesize patterns and insights for each city
• Prepare concise slide reports on city-level and cross-city findings
• Support visual representations of research data and processes
• Work remotely and independently across time zones on time-sensitive tasks

• Minimum bachelor degree in international development, social studies, design studies, urban studies or an equivalent field
• Previous experience working with qualitative data and design research
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration applications such as Miro or similar
• English is required

• Online volunteer assignment via UNV
• The assignment supports Mayors for Economic Growth work in Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia
• The successful candidate may work from a time zone other than Istanbul
