Responsibilities
- Assist with media monitoring
- Prepare communications materials including event content, web articles, social media posts and media relations materials
- Create public information content for web, social media, media outlets and key audiences
- Organise and select film or video footage for social media and feature stories
- Conduct research for UN events and campaigns
- Support organisation and logistics for UNIC events and activities
- Draft content for websites and social media platforms
Requirements
- Enrolled in or completed a graduate school programme, or enrolled in or completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme
- Computer literacy in standard software applications
- Demonstrated interest in the work of the United Nations and commitment to UN Charter ideals
- Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with people from different cultural backgrounds and beliefs
- Fluency in English

Additional info
- Unpaid full-time internship for three months with no breaks
- Internship may be extended up to six months subject to departmental needs, availability and performance
