Capacity Building Consultant (Psychosocial Risk Management)

Leads capacity-building support for psychosocial risk management across the UN system, helping design tools, training and guidance that embed prevention and well-being practices.

Department: UN System Workplace Mental Health and Well-being

• Review existing HR, health and safety, enterprise risk and employee support policies and practices
• Analyse staff survey findings to identify systemic trends and organisational vulnerabilities
• Design and deliver targeted training modules on psychosocial risk management
• Develop implementation toolkits, user manuals, operational guidance and role-specific protocols
• Advise on integrating psychosocial risk management into well-being strategies and governance frameworks
• Support evidence-based decision-making and organisational capacity building across UN system entities

• PhD in occupational health psychology, occupational psychology, organisational psychology or management
• At least ten years of combined experience in psychosocial risk management, training and capacity building
• Experience implementing multi-agency psychosocial risk management projects with international organisations
• Experience designing and delivering capacity-building initiatives, training materials and facilitated sessions
• Expertise in evidence-based research and complex data analysis
• Experience facilitating and presenting to diverse multicultural audiences and advising senior leadership
• Fluency in spoken and written English
