Responsibilities
- Support planning, implementation and operations support activities for pension benefits processing
- Coordinate and monitor project implementation activities with internal units and member organisations
- Support standard operating procedures for separation processes and member-organisation document submission
- Prepare training material and compile information for Operations Support Section activities
- Audit administrative actions and quality-control data entered through human resources and financial interfaces
- Research, compile, analyse and present data on interface enhancements and workflow validation
- Maintain business-intelligence follow-up reports on missing documents and pending cases
- Prepare and update electronic and paper files, databases, statistical tables and background materials
- Assist with data presentations, reports, knowledge management and decision-making materials
- Provide guidance and training to new or junior staff
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum seven years of progressively responsible experience in programme or project support, administration or a related area, reduced to five years for candidates with a first-level university degree or higher
- English at UN Level II for reading, writing, listening and speaking
- Authorisation to work for the United Nations in New York for local recruitment
