Assist with writing grant proposal for funding opportunity

The online volunteers will support Southern Africa Embrace Foundation by researching an identified funding opportunity and drafting a complete grant proposal using organisational information provided by the team.

• Research and identify funding opportunities aligned with organisational programmes
• Draft one complete grant proposal for an identified funding opportunity
• Use organisational information provided by SAEF to prepare the proposal
• Join bi-weekly check-ins with the organisation team
• Synthesize information into a persuasive proposal narrative
• Submit the draft grant proposal by the agreed deadline

• Bachelor degree
• Two years of demonstrated experience in grant writing or proposal development
• Strong writing and research skills
• Ability to synthesize information into persuasive narratives
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office

• Online volunteers must be available for bi-weekly check-ins
