Responsibilities

  • Review ECLAC documentation on productive-development policies and comparative subnational governance
  • Prepare a study index and research protocol aligned with the consultancy objective
  • Characterise Tamaulipas through economic, social, demographic and productive-structure analysis
  • Analyse state capacities and productive-development policies across the 1970-1990, 1991-2010 and 2011-2026 periods
  • Identify policies with significant effects on exports, technology incorporation, employment and environmental sustainability
  • Systematise findings, lessons learned and policy recommendations using the nine-phase policy cycle
  • Participate in follow-up and presentation meetings and incorporate supervisor comments

Requirements

  • Bachelor''s degree in social sciences, economics, public administration or a related area
  • At least five years of experience in public policy, industrial policy, economic development or value chains
  • Spanish proficiency
