Responsibilities

  • Review ECLAC source documents on subnational productive development policy
  • Develop a research protocol and proposed structure for the case study
  • Characterise San Luis Potosí through economic, social, demographic and productive data
  • Analyse state capabilities and productive development policies across the 1970–1990, 1991–2010 and 2011–2026 periods
  • Assess policy impacts on exports, technology adoption, employment and environmental sustainability
  • Systematise findings, lessons and recommendations using the nine-phase policy life cycle
  • Present the study and incorporate supervisory comments into final products

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Public Administration or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in public policy, industrial policy, economic development or value chains
  • Fluency in Spanish
