Responsibilities
- Review ECLAC documentation on subnational productive-development policy
- Design a research protocol and tentative structure for the Oaxaca study
- Analyse Oaxaca’s economic, social, demographic and productive structure
- Assess state capabilities, policy instruments, financing and governance from 1970 to 2026
- Identify policies with significant effects on exports, technology, employment and environmental sustainability
- Apply the nine-phase policy lifecycle to systematise findings and lessons
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for productive transformation
- Present the study and incorporate supervisor feedback into final products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, economics, public administration or a related field
- At least five years of experience in public policy, industrial policy, economic development or value chains
- Full command of Spanish
