WASH Officer

The role provides technical, operational and administrative support throughout the WASH programming process. It contributes to development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of WASH output results for the country programme.

• Provide technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the WASH programming process
• Prepare, manage and implement technical and administrative tasks for WASH output results
• Support WASH programme development and planning
• Support programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
• Provide technical and operational support for programme implementation
• Support humanitarian WASH preparedness and response
• Build networks and partnerships
• Support innovation, knowledge management and capacity building

• Bachelor's or equivalent first level university degree in public health, social science, behavioural change, communication, sanitary engineering or another related field
• At least two years of relevant work experience in WASH programmes for developing countries or related fields
• Knowledge of rural water supply, sanitation, water safety, CATS principles and WASH policies
• Proficiency in English and Gilbertese
• Open to Kiribati nationals only
