Overview

Supports WFP Timor-Leste social protection work by drafting technical deliverables, coordinating reviews, managing knowledge products and contributing analytical support. The role strengthens documentation, communications and programme learning for INSPIRE TA and SANURIO activities.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, consolidate and finalise technical deliverables including operations manuals, frameworks and training materials
  • Address technical comments from ADB reviewers, government counterparts and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal WFP review processes and incorporate inputs from relevant units
  • Conduct desk research and analytical reviews on social protection, adaptive systems and nutrition-sensitive programming
  • Develop and implement a knowledge management and communications plan for the Social Protection portfolio
  • Document lessons learned, innovations and results from BdMK SANUTRIO and INSPIRE implementation
  • Draft human-interest stories, technical blogs, briefs, presentations and learning products
  • Provide technical and analytical support during distributions, trainings and major project milestones

Requirements

  • Background in social protection, public policy, development studies, economics, social sciences, international development or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in technical writing, editing and review of policy or programme documents
  • Experience coordinating with government counterparts and development partners
  • Experience in design and implementation in development or humanitarian contexts, preferably related to social protection
  • Use of common office and collaboration tools
  • English is required
