Responsibilities

  • Monitor implementation of the WPRO publishing workplan and related activities
  • Review publication proposals, journal requests and information products before clearance
  • Proofread formatted products for brand adherence, accuracy and quality assurance
  • Track ongoing publication products and guide team workload improvements
  • Update promotional channels and coordinate publication promotion with technical units
  • Coordinate graphic design, printing, translation quotations and supplier contracts
  • Maintain sales, distribution, royalty-payment and publication identifier records
  • Advise regional units and country offices on publication needs and compliance

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary education supplemented by training in publications and office administration
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in administrative management of publications
  • Expert knowledge of English and local language
