Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain contact with separated families, families of missing persons and other enquirers
  • Implement Protection of Family Links activities, including tracing case collection, follow-up, documentation and information sharing
  • Perform internal and external follow-up of individual cases under line manager supervision
  • Receive visitors and calls and ensure timely follow-up and response
  • Carry out filing and archiving tasks in line with standard procedures
  • Assist with planning, budgeting and programme monitoring exercises
  • Represent ICRC in meetings and field visits and maintain contact with humanitarian, civil society and service-provider stakeholders

Requirements

  • University degree or relevant professional experience
  • Typically 3-5 years of experience in social, political or economic sciences or a similar field
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Excellent spoken and written Arabic
