Overview
Oversees Pacific Department portfolio management and strengthens implementation performance for loans, grants and technical assistance. The role also supports regional cooperation with Pacific institutions and supervises portfolio and RCI-related staff work.

Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio management, trend analysis, target setting and performance improvement measures
- Prepare briefings and reports for corporate meetings and operational reviews
- Coordinate consistent portfolio management approaches across country teams and field offices
- Advise on procurement, contract administration, safeguards, risk management and implementation challenges
- Review new and ongoing operations for design quality and implementation soundness
- Support engagement with Pacific regional institutions and regional meetings
- Supervise and mentor staff working on portfolio management and regional cooperation
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in economics, engineering, business administration or a related field, or university degree with at least 5 years specialised experience
- At least 12 years of work experience in project development and implementation
- At least 10 years of experience with development organisations in project, programme and technical assistance preparation, processing, administration and closure
- Extensive experience working with senior government officials and development partners
- Nationality of one of ADB's 69 members
