Supports policy planning work for UN peacekeeping by monitoring political developments, reviewing documents and preparing communications, research and information products. The internship contributes to policy, lessons learning and strategic cooperation work in DPO.

Responsibilities
- Monitor national and regional political developments
- Review policies, papers and other documents
- Prepare reports, concept papers, policy documents, talking points and articles
- Develop strategic communications, presentations and visualisations
- Attend conferences and meetings and take notes
- Prepare thematic discussions, brown bags and events
- Create and edit internal and external communications products
- Support information management, statistical analysis and project management development
Requirements
- Enrolment in or completion of a graduate programme, final year of a first university degree, or completed bachelor, master or PhD programme
- Field of study closely related to the internship
- Fluency in spoken and written English
