National Project Coordinator

Coordinates ITC's Making Trade Happen project in Jordan, supporting SME mobilisation, stakeholder engagement, technical assistance delivery, logistics and project monitoring.

• Liaise with ministries, business support organisations, chambers and associations to secure project alignment
• Organise bilateral stakeholder meetings, validation workshops, public-private dialogues and technical trainings
• Mobilise SMEs to apply and verify baseline data through outreach, calls or visits
• Oversee SME shortlisting, selection documentation and orientation sessions
• Coordinate delivery of technical assistance, coaching and support services to SMEs
• Track SME-level results, participation and improvements across targeted capacity areas
• Coordinate training, workshop, coaching, event and trade-fair logistics
• Maintain workplans, weekly action plans, progress reports and means of verification

• Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, trade, development, international relations or a related field
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in project coordination, SME support or donor-funded programmes in Jordan
• Experience working with government entities, chambers and private sector associations
• Strong familiarity with SME advisory services, public-private dialogue or export development projects
• Experience coordinating training, workshops and technical missions
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English

• Home-based consultancy in Amman, Jordan
• Contract period runs from 1 August 2026 to 31 March 2027
• Monthly deliverables must be approved by the ITC hiring manager before payment
• Fees are subject to national income taxes where applicable
