Responsibilities
- Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external legal matters, including powers of attorney, proxies and counsel letters
- Assist in-house counsel with legal documentation for debt, equity, funds, amendments, consents and waivers
- Lead smaller transactions with support from senior lawyers
- Review confidentiality agreements and business-development documents with IFC counsel and investment teams
- Coordinate with external counsel where required
- Manage signing, completion conditions and filing of transaction documents under IFC guidelines
- Support portfolio administration for IFC debt and equity investments
- Assist on upstream, advisory, local-currency and treasury-product matters
- Identify and analyse legal and policy issues associated with investment or advisory projects
