Legal Analyst

Supports IFC legal teams on investment, advisory and treasury matters across Europe, the Middle East, Türkiye, Central Asia, Afghanistan and Pakistan by preparing documents, coordinating transactions and analysing legal issues.

Department: IFC Legal Department

• Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external legal matters, including powers of attorney, proxies and counsel letters
• Assist in-house counsel with legal documentation for debt, equity, funds, amendments, consents and waivers
• Lead smaller transactions with support from senior lawyers
• Review confidentiality agreements and business-development documents with IFC counsel and investment teams
• Coordinate with external counsel where required
• Manage signing, completion conditions and filing of transaction documents under IFC guidelines
• Support portfolio administration for IFC debt and equity investments
• Assist on upstream, advisory, local-currency and treasury-product matters
• Identify and analyse legal and policy issues associated with investment or advisory projects
