• FAO Kazakhstan (FAOKZ) is looking for one Online Volunteer to support in translating two FAO Technical Conversion Factors (TCF) questionnaires for Food Balance Sheets from English into Russian.
• The translation should accurately reflect the technical terminology while preserving the original meaning, structure, and formatting of the questionnaires to support their use by national counterparts and other relevant stakeholders.
• Translate two Excel-based questionnaires (including tables and brief instructions) from English into Russian.
• Ensure the accurate and consistent use of technical terminology throughout the translation.
• Proofread the translated documents prior to submission.
• Preserve the original formatting and layout of the Excel files.
• The selected Online Volunteer will receive the source documents and any relevant reference materials upon assignment.

• Candidates should have previous experience in translations, writing/editing skills.
• Excellent command of English and Russian.
• Experience translating technical, agricultural, statistical, or UN-related documents is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet agreed deadlines.
