Overview
Advises on the planning, design, construction and maintenance of major electrical systems for the UNON Conference Facilities Project. The role reviews project designs and reports, provides technical input on electrical infrastructure and helps resolve specialised engineering issues.

Responsibilities
- Analyse and advise on major electrical systems, building automation and related project infrastructure
- Evaluate project documents and design specifications for accuracy, feasibility and cost
- Review technical drawings, specifications, reports, invoices, cost breakdowns and labour cost reports for approval
- Review and approve weekly and monthly reports from design consultants and contractors
- Recommend solutions to unusual electrical engineering problems
- Conduct technical studies and develop guidance for planning and maintenance of facilities
- Provide technical input on power load, electrical safety, energy efficiency and BMS integration
- Lead teams studying critical design or construction problems and participate in planning missions
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Electrical Engineering or another related field is required
- First-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree
- Minimum seven years of progressively responsible experience in electrical engineering or a related area for large-scale construction or renovation projects is required
- English is required
