Responsibilities

  • Support workshops and conferences through document preparation, agendas, logistics, coordination and on-site support
  • Contribute to documentation and research through data collection, analysis, desk review, editing and report dissemination
  • Support project implementation and advocacy around inclusive education, STEM education and violence against children in schools
  • Develop knowledge products, translate documents between English and Chinese and disseminate programme publications
  • Carry out assigned ad hoc tasks for the education and child-protection section

Requirements

  • Enrolment in a postgraduate degree programme, or recent completion of a bachelor's degree with planned postgraduate study, in science education, education management, political sciences, child rights or another relevant subject
  • Experience and ability in innovative education, policy research and analysis, and project coordination
  • Strong academic performance shown by recent records or an academic supervisor reference letter
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • No immediate relatives working in UNICEF offices
