Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse study data on breastfeeding among preterm neonates
  • Identify and document best practices that support exclusive breastfeeding
  • Assess breastfeeding outcomes at initial hospital discharge
  • Prepare a comprehensive report of findings from selected neonatal units
  • Engage with maternal and newborn health stakeholders in Sri Lanka

Requirements

  • PhD in public health, statistics or a related field
  • At least five years of work experience in maternal and newborn health fields
  • Strong understanding of Sri Lanka's maternal and newborn healthcare system
  • Understanding of the breastfeeding programme and advanced newborn care
  • Experience analysing maternal and newborn health data and generating reports
  • Excellent spoken and written command of English
