Communications Associate

Supports WFP Timor-Leste communications through multimedia production, digital content, visibility activities and archive management. The role helps package stories, campaigns and field documentation for social media, web, print and partner-facing materials.

• Produce videos, photographs and graphic design materials for social media, web, digital and print channels
• Develop storytelling products that highlight WFP impact and technical assistance
• Edit and package multimedia content aligned with WFP branding guidelines
• Contribute ideas and content planning for social media campaigns and commemoration days
• Adapt content for different platforms including Facebook and X
• Support visibility for donors, WFP and government counterparts in communication materials
• Document field activities, missions and events linked to sustainable development initiatives
• Maintain photo and video archives with labelling, metadata and accessible digital asset management

• Background in audiovisual production, graphic design, communications, social media or a related field of study or experience
• Demonstrated interest or experience of up to three years in video production and editing
• Demonstrated interest or experience in photography
• Demonstrated interest or experience in graphic design and social media content creation
• Demonstrated interest, knowledge or experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office
• English is required
