Responsibilities

  • Post relevant information on Chinese social media platforms and promote IFRC and regional campaigns
  • Manage IFRC Chinese social media accounts and produce quality content
  • Monitor media and social media landscapes and provide regular overviews
  • Support publicity and awareness materials including newsletters, web stories, brochures, presentations and videos
  • Prepare talking points, Q&A materials and press releases for media events
  • Maintain communication contact lists and audio-visual libraries
  • Coordinate with National Societies on global and regional campaigns
  • Translate regional social media content for IFRC channels

Requirements

  • Current enrolment in a university or equivalent programme, or recent graduation normally within one year, in journalism, public relations, mass communication or a related field
  • Proven work experience in communications and social media management
  • High written English and Chinese skills, including spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Computer literacy
