Responsibilities

  • Lead design and implementation of the Qualitative Comparative Analysis component of a global child protection evaluation
  • Provide methodological leadership on QCA design, implementation, reporting and dissemination
  • Align QCA outputs with other evaluation components to answer causal programme-theory questions
  • Generate cross-nationally comparable evidence on outcome-level results of the child protection systems strengthening strategy

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree (minimum Master's) in political science, applied social research/statistics, public policy/evaluation, or social sciences with a quantitative methods specialisation
  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience designing and applying Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) in international development or complex research/evaluation designs
  • Experience working with the UN system or international organisations
  • Track record of leading multi-country comparative studies
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
