Associé(e) au Financement Humanitaire

Supports OCHA's humanitarian financing unit in Haiti by reviewing project budgets, guiding partners, monitoring financial reports, supporting audits and strengthening regional fund accountability.

Department: Humanitarian Financing Unit

• Develop and maintain national SOPs for administrative and financial flows of the regional humanitarian fund envelope for Haiti
• Review project proposals and budgets for financial quality control and compliance with OCHA fund guidelines
• Advise partners on humanitarian financing, administrative procedures and grant-access requirements
• Review project budgets, amendments and budget revisions and provide recommendations
• Monitor financial reports, audits, spot checks, project closures and reimbursements
• Maintain cost-effectiveness data and prepare narrative and numerical reports on fund performance

• Advanced university degree in project management, development studies, international relations, public administration, economics, accounting, finance or a related field is required, or a bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience
• Minimum two years, or four years with a bachelor's degree, in grant or programme management, humanitarian affairs, emergencies, donor relations, monitoring and evaluation, communication and reporting, budget management, or administration and finance
• Experience in humanitarian financing, including grants management, resource mobilisation or donor relations, is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
• Fluency in French is required
