Asociado/a de Apoyo a la Gestión de Proyectos

Supports UNODC project delivery in Mexico by tracking implementation, documentation, stakeholder communication, events, reporting, finance and procurement processes for the ALERT-MEXAL6 project.

Department: UNODC Mexico Country Office

• Support monitoring, documentation and reporting for UNODC project implementation
• Maintain project records, financial documentation, audit files and ERP information
• Support planning and logistics for meetings, trainings, workshops and missions
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders, service providers, consultants and internal units
• Track milestones, deliverables, risks and pending actions for the project
• Support administrative, HR, procurement, financial and contract management processes
• Prepare minutes, reports, briefs and knowledge products for project management

• Secondary education with six years of relevant experience, or a bachelor degree in any discipline with two years of relevant experience
• Relevant experience supporting project management in security, justice, organised crime, drugs or law enforcement
• Experience supporting planning or logistical organisation of multi-stakeholder events
• Demonstrated command of collaboration and productivity tools such as MS Office, G-Suite or web-based management systems
• Fluent English and Spanish

• Contract duration until 31 December 2026, with possible renewal subject to funds, organisational needs, project duration and performance
• UNOPS hosts the role in support of UNODC
• LICA level and fee may change due to UNODC and UNOV global reclassification
• Background checks are required for final candidates
