Responsibilities
- Review ECLAC documentation on productive development policies and related analytical frameworks
- Prepare a study outline and research protocol defining the problem, objectives, product and methodology
- Characterise Chihuahua's economic, social, demographic and productive structure
- Analyse state capacities and productive development policies across the 1970-1990, 1991-2010 and 2011-2026 periods
- Identify policies with significant effects on exports, technology incorporation, employment and environmental sustainability
- Systematise findings, lessons learned and policy recommendations using the nine-phase policy cycle
- Participate in follow-up and study presentation meetings
- Incorporate supervisor comments and revisions into the final products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, economics, public administration or a related field
- At least five years of experience in public policy, industrial policy, economic development or value chains
- Spanish proficiency is required
